A collection of silver boxes entitled The Guards Regiments, issued by Franklin Mint to a limited edition in 1978.
The set consists of eight silver boxes. The central retangular box depicting HM Queen Elizabeth II on horseback in high relief repousse work. The other seven oval boxes each represent a guards regiment, depicting a guardsman in dress uniform along with crest, motto and date of formation. The boxes are further complimented with individual leaflets with the history of each regiment.
Comes complete with original fitted case and certificate of authenticity. Each box is stamped STERLING SILVER to the base along with a tiny set of hallmarksand represent the following regiments:
