A silver armada style dish commemorating the centenary of the birth of Sir Winston Churchill. Bears a filled central relief plaque of Churchill himself with spitfires and paint brushes behind him and bears a large set of feature hallmarks to the base for Sheffield 1973 by fine silversmiths Walker & Hall. The dish comes complete with certificate of authenticity and original fitted case.

Around the top border of the dish it is engraved SIR WINSTON SPENCER CHURCHILL along with dates 1874 and 1974. The lower border is further engraved with one of Churchill's most famous Battle of Britain quotes:

Never in the field of human conflict

Was so much owed by so many to so few

August 1940.

Number 126 of a limited edition of only 400.
